YOUR RIGHTS AS A STATE CITIZEN!

If you don't know what your rights are, you don't have any!

Sheriff Richard Mack says, "The United States Constitution (Article 1, Sec. 8) grants 3 law enforcement categories to the federal government; felonies committed on the high seas, counterfeiting and treason. Protecting our nation's borders would also be an appropriate constitutional federal obligation. But many of the federal agencies have become powers unto themselves and are the tails wagging the dog"

Per the Constitution of the state of New Mexico

Article II – Bill of Rights
Sec. 2. [Popular sovereignty.]
All political power is vested in and derived
from the people: all government of
right originates with the people, is founded
upon their will and is instituted solely for
their good.

Sec. 3. [Right of self-government.]
The people of the state have the sole and
exclusive right to govern themselves as a
free, sovereign and independent state.

Sec. 4. [Inherent rights.]
All persons are born equally free, and
have certain natural, inherent and inalienable
rights, among which are the rights of
enjoying and defending life and liberty, of
acquiring, possessing and protecting property,
and of seeking and obtaining safety and
happiness.

With our centennial coming up soon, have we as the People of the state of New Mexico failed to protect our sovereign state's rights?

Has this generation EVER enjoyed the rights listed above?

We did NOT elect ANY of the federal law enforcement officials that claim jurisdiction over us. However, we DID elect the County Sheriff that is the supreme law enforcement official in their respective counties.

100 years ago, New Mexico became a state and left the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal Government. Have we made any attempt to preserve the status of statehood?

Per Webster's Dictionary...

TERRITORY:

In the United States, a portion of the country not included within the limits of any State, and not yet admitted as a State into the Union, but organized with a separate legislature, under a Territorial governor and other officers appointed by the President and Senate of the United States.

STATE:

In the United States, one of the commonwealth, or bodies politic, the people of which make up the body of the nation, and which, under the national constitution, stands in certain specified relations with the national government, and are invested, as commonwealth, with full power in their several spheres over all matters not expressly inhibited.
